Law Mansion Audio Tour 羅氏大屋導覽
A voice-and-image guided tour system for a heritage house — every visitor carries the tour guide in their own pocket.
The brief
Heritage buildings have stories at every corner — and usually a QR code, a laminated sign, or nothing at all to tell them. Traditional audio guides mean rented devices, staff to hand them out, charging racks, and hygiene concerns. Law Mansion needed narration that scales with visitors and costs almost nothing to run per visitor.
What we built
- Voice narration paired with images — visitors see and hear each point of the story as they walk
- Runs on the visitor's own phone through the browser — no app download, no rented hardware
- Bilingual content (中文 / English) serving local visitors and tourists from the same system
- Zero marginal cost per visitor: a school group of forty costs the same as one tourist
Why it works
The system disappears into the visit. There's nothing to borrow, nothing to return, nothing to clean — visitors scan, put in their earphones, and walk at their own pace while the building talks to them. For heritage operators, that's the entire staffing and logistics problem of guided tours, solved by software.
